About Georgia
Georgia qualified in 2007 with Body Control Pilates, Europe’s largest and leading professional Pilates organisation, following a career at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
After qualifying as a level 3 Pilates teacher, in 2010 Georgia went on to train as a Back4Good Practitioner and level 4 teacher (the highest standard) with a specialism in low back pain. As well as running general group classes, she offers Healthy back group classes for the prevention and management of low back pain and has a particular interest in this area.
In 2013 Georgia completed her reformer training and is a fully qualified studio teacher offering sessions on the reformer, cadillac tower and Pilates chair from her home studio in Amersham.
Georgia has completed extensive further training including Pilates for golfers (with experience of teaching in-house at Harewood Downs Golf Club), Pilates for cyclists, Pilates for runners, Pilates for equestrians, Pilates for racquet sports, pre and post natal Pilates, Pilates for bone health (osteoporosis), Pilates pre and post hip replacement, Pilates for the older person, Pilates for the menopause, and Pilates for scoliosis. Georgia is also qualified to teach hypermobile clients (Hypermobile Ehler's Danlos Syndrome). She is trained to use the full range of small equipment which she uses in her matwork classes. Recently Georgia completed training to work with clients with Long Covid returning to exercise.
With over 15 years of teaching experience, Georgia believes in making Pilates accessible to all and helps her clients gain the most they can from their sessions with her.
