About Georgia

Georgia qualified in 2007 as a level 3 Pilates teacher with Body Control Pilates, Europe’s largest and leading professional Pilates organisation, following a career at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
In 2010 Georgia went on to complete extensive further training in exercise referral and low back pain becoming a Back4Good Practitioner (Level 4 Advanced Exercise Instructor). As well as running general group classes, she offers Healthy Back classes for the prevention and management of low back pain and has a particular interest in this area.
In 2013 Georgia completed her reformer training and is a fully qualified studio teacher offering sessions on the reformer, tower and Pilates chair from her home studio in Amersham.
Georgia is a member of The Society for the Pilates Method, an alliance of the UK's leading Pilates providers, which is committed to upholding standards of excellence in Pilates teaching.
Georgia has completed extensive further training and is committed to developing her Pilates knowledge. Courses she has taken include Pilates for golfers (with experience of teaching in-house at Harewood Downs Golf Club), Pilates for cyclists, Pilates for runners, Pilates for equestrians, Pilates for racquet sports, pre and post natal Pilates, Pilates for bone health (osteoporosis), Pilates pre and post hip replacement, Pilates for the older person, Pilates for the menopause, and Pilates for scoliosis. Georgia is also qualified to teach hypermobile clients (Hypermobile Ehler's Danlos Syndrome) and clients with Long Covid returning to exercise.
With over 17 years of teaching experience, Georgia believes in making Pilates accessible to all and helps her clients gain the most they can from their sessions with her.
